Playful rabbitIt was a time of peace and quiet for the Kishin wolf. He was lying on his stomach on a pelt, gnawing on a deer bone. Suddenly, his peace was interrupted by a small rabbit standing on front of him with an eager expression on her face.
"What?" Asura asked her, a tiny bit annoyed.
"I'm bored," Maka replied, "Play with me, please?"
"I'm busy right now. Maybe later."
This made the little rabbit pout; he was busy ALL the time. Then, she had an idea. She quickly hopped onto his back, and began tugging on his ear with her teeth.
Annoyed, Asura said to her, "Knock it off, little one. I said later."
"Play with me!!" the rabbit said, still gnawing
Poisoned Family Part 2Maka awoke one morning to find herself alone on the pelt. Was Asura out hunting again? Her question was answered when she heard deep breathing from behind her. She turned to find Asura staring down at her, his eyes had the glare of a snake.
He breathed in and spoke in a sinister voice, "Breakfast."
Maka was frozen, confused about what the wolf said. Then, the beast started howling and barking at her; she had no choice but to run from him and the cave.
She could hear the fast footsteps of Asura coming up behind her. Her head was filled with concerning and fearful thoughts:
~Why is he doing this?! I thought he cared about me!~
She was inte
Poisoned Family Part 1Deep within a large forest, there lived a pair of unlikely friends; a handsome Kishin wolf named Asura and a small, cute bunny named Maka. The two lived in a small cave covered in cave paintings and fur pelts that Asura made himself (Maka was happy there weren't any rabbit pelts).
One day, Asura went off hunting, telling Maka to stay in the cave. So Maka sat near the cave's mouth, waiting patiently for the wolf. Suddenly, her stomach started to growl, such bad timing for her to get hungry. She sniffed the air until she picked up a sweet scent of grass. At first, she hesitated to leave the safety of the cave, but Asura always took a long tim
AxM PockyIt was a quiet afternoon in Death City; Maka was reading a book in her room while Soul was out with his friends. Suddenly, the blonde's stomach growling snapped her out of reading. She walked out of her room and into the kitchen. She looked in the cabinets to find her box of chocolate Pocky, but it wasn't anywhere to be found.
"Did Soul steal my Pocky again?!" Maka said angrily to herself, "He's a dead shark now!"
"Looking for something?" A dark, but familiar voice said behind her.
The meister turned around to find the Kishin, Asura, holding an almost-empty red Pocky box. Maka, head full of rage, raised her book, ready for a Maka-chop. How
Encounters"Maka! Don't go too far outside!" Maka's papa Spirit warned his daughter. As usual, the blonde haired bunny paid very little attention to her over-protective father and bounded past the trees that marked the edge of their territory. Spirit sighed and turned inside the burrow. "Soul, could you go with her please?"
Soul yawned and stretched. "I was in the middle of a good dream. This is so not cool," the fox said. He flicked his silver tail in irritation. "Has Maka run off by herself again?"
"She has. It's up to you to protect her," Spirit said.
"On my way," Soul said, giving chase after Maka. "Hey, Maka! Wait up!"
The bunny jumped out from
MakaXAsura fail"Soul you idiot!" I yelled as I ran out the door, scarfing down half a bagel and yanking on my jacket.
Why did he do these things to me? Keeping me up all night then letting me sleep all threw the school day. God I swear if I didn't need him he would be dead right now. The mixture of cold and heat on my breath from running made my lungs burn. I just had to stop for a minute My lungs felt like they would burst! Bending over trying to catch my breath I saw a shadow hovering over me, then the hand on my shoulder.
"Hey are you ok Maka?" The voice asked.
I recognized it instantly. The voice belonged to the class freak, Asura. I tried to
Feelings Never Felt~Asura's P.O.V~
I have no emotions, no fear, no one with me. I am the greatest Kishin to walk this earth. I hate everyone I meet, and everyone fears me. That's what I used to think... before I met her.
I was walking alone in the woods in the night, wearing my skinned bandages and scarves. It was quiet, something I actually liked. Then, I noticed something odd. Sitting under a tree with her face buried in her knees was a small, blonde child. When she heard my steps, she looked up at me with tears in her eyes. Her clothes were muddy, making me think she was a runaway. She stood up and looked at me with a worried expression (I was somewhat imp
Maka's FeelingsMaka's Feelings
Ever since Maka's father 'hung' out with other women besides her mother and her, the family has been apart from each other. Every time Maka's Papa said, "I love you and mama the most!" She confirmed it as a plain lie. Why did her papa cheat on her mama, didn't he love them? As a little girl, she didn't under stand her father and she didn't want to now.
As Maka walked down the stairs of Shibusen, she shivered. It was nightfall and the moon was grinning, but a little cold wind blew right though the warmness of her black coat. Books wrapped around her arms, she proceeded down the stairs. Soul was busy with Black*Star so she was
Insanity of LoveSoul passed through all of the lock doors of the Death City mental Asylum as he headed for one cell and one cell only. The wardens granted the Death Scythe access as he phoned in advance. He walked down the hallway looking at the cell doors. Patients such as Stein, Medusa, Crona, Arachne and Noah looked through the windows to see Soul passing by. He then finally reaches the end of the corridor to find a big metal door. Soul placed his hand on the hand scanner and with a few beeps and cranks the door slowly opened, only to reveal another door. Soul walked up to it and placed his eye in front of the scanner. A red laser illuminates Soul's red e
SECC Chapter 3Maka and Paintera hurried down the painted road, in which it turned orange from red. The ball froze in her tracks; she sensed a familiar soul response.
"That soul," she said, shaking, "It can't be."
Suddenly, a wicked laugh came from beside the two. They turned around and found Medusa, the snake witch, standing before them, a wicked smile on her face.
"Long time no see, Maka Albarn," she hissed, "You haven't grown much at all."
"H-how?!" Maka shuddered, "How are you still alive?!"
"Do not fall for Drawcia's trap," Paintera whispered, "This is just a replica she created, only weaker. She's trying to open the fear in your heart. Focus on y
KoKo - DissapearanceA few more days have passed; every night, Maka and Asura proved their love on the hotel roof. One day, the two were out on a walk, just enjoying the time with each other. Suddenly, Maka stopped.
Asura took noticed of this and asked, "Maka, what's wrong?"
The blonde replied with a sad expression, "Why is this so sudden? Why did I love you so fast? You were a stranger, but I felt like I known you for a long time."
"Love is a strange spell, Maka. We can fall under it sooner than we expect, like Romeo and Juliet."
"Yet, we can't be forever. I have to leave in two days. I don't know if I'll come back."
"Didn't I tell you I'll always be here o
The Wizard's Family Chapter 1Eight-year-old Maka Albarn was on the ground, shaking and eyes full of tears. A witch had just killed her parents in front of her.
"Such a shame you just witnessed your family's demise," the witch Medusa said, "No matter. You're about to join them."
She raised her right hand at the girl and chanted a spell:
~Nake snake, cobra cobbra. Nake snake, cobra cobbra.~
The snake tattoo on her arm slithered off her fingers and towards Maka. It grew larger, fangs bared. Within a matter of seconds, the snake dove at the girl, ready to swallow her. However, an invisible shield prevented it from touching the young blonde. Maka turned around to see a te
Tales of Typhon 1 Chapter 9ScaleWing was clutching the neck of a war gryphon with both hands on the battlegrounds. Some gryphons had fallen during the fight, even the wizards were injured.
"Pathetic," The drake leader hissed, "You gryphons stood no chance. Windtera is mine."
He was interrupted when a drake cried, "MASTER! TYPHON IS ALIVE! THE WITCH HAS THE ACCURSED SCEPTER!"
He turned around to the mighty gryphon, his rider Cassandra holding the Glass of Hope.
"Impossible," ScaleWing growled in fear and anger. He tried to zap Typhon with thunderbolts, but the gryphon flew high into the air and grabbed the diviner drake in his talons.
"Now, Cassandra!" Typhon comma
Tales of Typhon 1 Chapter 8"He... he can't be gone," Cassandra silently muttered, "That didn't happen."
"Cass, I'm sorry," Kestrel said, "It was my fault he sacrificed himself."
"He did what he could, Cass," Christina said softly.
Cassandra didn't say a word; she was clutching the amulet close to her, shedding tears silently.
Suddenly she heard a familiar voice, "Cassandra..."
Her head shot up, but Typhon was not around.
"We heard the voice, too," GraveBeak said.
Cassandra was confused, until SnowStorm spoke, "Typhon is here, inside that amulet. You, Cassandra, can bring him back.
"You must bring the amulet to Wendala's statue," Seatail said, "and construct the
Tales of Typhon 1 Chapter 7The scream belonged to Kestrel; she was in trouble! Cassandra and her friends hastily mounted their gryphons and followed the cry. When they arrived, they saw the wizard and her gryphon being pulled away by a Draconian.
"Let me go, you big lizard!" Kestrel cried out. The drake ignored the theurgist as he continued dragging her. Dustin managed to zap the dragon down, while the others rushed to the scene. Suddenly, hundreds of drakes surrounded them.
"It is a trap!" MythTalon cried.
ScaleWing was among them; his intentions were on Cassandra. He darted at her, but she was aware enough to send a crusade at him. Then, without noticing, ScaleWin
Tales of Typhon 1 Chapter 6The wizards and the gryphons finally arrived on Windtera, a giant cloud that was topped with small cottages and tents. Cassandra and the others were surprised to see many gryphons, each with a different amulet and color. At the center of the cloud-like kingdom was a tall palace. Its flags were waving a royal blue with a light blue symbol, a dot with a waving line hovering over it. Breaking the silence, FlameFeather made a ear-splitting cry, a signal to open the palace doors. The surrounding gryphons bowed before a larger, majestic gryphon, who exited the palace through the opened doors. His feathers were white, with feather whiskers sticking
HelicaseHelio and I were always sitting on the stairs, chatting about the lamina and occasionally making snide remarks about ribosomes. There wasn't much for us to do. Our job was to simply be, and let the RNA scribble down the letters on our foreheads when they came around every once in a while. Helio was a G, I was a C. It wasn't exactly fulfilling, I suppose. There wasn't much to be filled. So to pass the time, we talked.
"You ever wonder?" Helio asked.
"About...well...what's out there." Helio and I were rooted to the stairs, quite happily, but it was awkward to move in. He kind of twisted in the general direction of the closest pore. "Out in the cytoplasm."
"I haven't," I admitted. "What's there to wonder about?"
"That's exactly the thing. I have no idea." Helio sighed, gazing into the distance. "Somehow it feels like we play this huge, huge role in something important, but how can we when we don't even know what that something is? I want to be something that, that has
